Nassim Majidi is a Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford’s Department of Politics and International Relations and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Sciences Po, Paris. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the humanitarian and policy implications of Afghan migration, and the linkages between international interventions and new forms and vulnerabilities of migration. She holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris in International Affairs and Developments Studies and a B.A. in Government from Cornell University, Ithaca NY. She is fluent in English, French, and Farsi. Her most recent publications cover a range of field research led in Afghanistan and commissioned by UNHCR, IOM, NRC and the World Bank.
