Harriet Dodd


Harriet Dodd graduated in History of Art and Philosophy and has an advanced degree in Human Resource Management. She has more than 25 years management experience in development and emergency response environments in Africa and the Middle East. She has worked at a senior level for, among others Oxfam, Save the Children and CARE as well as providing consultancy services for the European Commission and International Planned Parenthood Federation. She was posted from 2005-2009 in Jordan with CARE international where she was responsible for program work across Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria and oversaw all CARE's work in response to the Iraqi refugee crisis. She is presently the Director of People and Culture for Plan International. Her observations in the paper contributed to this project reflect her own views and are not those of CARE.
