Kate Washington

Biography

Kate Washington is a technical advisor to the CARE Jordan Refugee program. Prior to joining CARE, Ms. Washington worked as a consultant on various refugee related projects and was an independent researcher affiliated with the French Institute for Near East in Amman. Her recent research interests have focused on female experience of education in the region and on the experiences of Iraqi refugees in Jordan and Syria. She holds a Master of Sciences degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
